de arte creada por manos artesanas, y una buena conservación
es la mejor garantía para que se mantenga en óptimas
condiciones año tras año.

Procuremos no guardar las
joyas en un mismo estuche, de esta manera evitaremos que se
rayen por el continuo roce. |

|

|
Debemos limpiar las joyas
de plata con o sin piedras con: jabón neutro (de preferencia
jabón líquido), un cepillo de dientes nuevo de
cerdas suaves, y agua tibia. Colocar sus joyas en un envase
profundo, agregar un poco de jabón líquido y luego
el agua tibia. Con el cepillo de dientes limpiar las joyas.
Una vez que termine de limpiar sus joyas, cambie el agua cuantas
veces sea necesario hasta que el jabón desaparezca. Colocar
las joyas en una toalla y secarlas una por una por completo.
De esta manera sus joyas quedarán como nuevas. Realizar
este procedimiento cada vez que sus joyas lo necesiten. |

Debe evitar los golpes sobre
superficies duras, ya que esto puede rayar su pieza. |

|
La plata se oxida en contacto
con el aire. Se puede limpiar como explicamos en el paso número
2 o se puede también comprar una franela especial para
limpiar joyas de plata que viene con una sustancia especial
impregnada en la misma. |

|
Las joyas que tienen esmaltes
son especialmente sensibles a los golpes y también a
los productos químicos, tenga mucho cuidado. |
| |
|
|
 |
|
Las perlas y corales merecen
una atención especial, son de origen orgánico
y pueden ser atacados por cosméticos, lacas, perfumes
o colonias. Para limpiar estas piezas recomendamos seguir el
paso número 2 pero tenga un poco más de cuidado
con estas piezas. |

No es aconsejable mojar
las pulseras o collares con cierre de imán, ya que este
se oxida con el agua y deja de hacer contacto. |

|
Las joyas que contengan
filamentos entrelazados como de cuero o piel, es mejor limpiarlas
con un paño semi húmedo con agua, se recomienda
no bañarse o ducharse con ellas ni limpiarlas con agua
y jabón. |

Try not to keep your jewelry
in a same case, this way you will avoid having scratched jewels
by the continuous rubbing. |

Clean your silver jewelry
with or without semi precious stones with: neutral soap (liquid
soap if available), a new toothbrush with smooth bristles and
lukewarm water. To start with place your jewelry in a deep bowl,
add a little liquid soap and then cover them up with lukewarm
water. Use the new toothbrush to clean jewels, brush them gently.
Once you are finished, change the water as many times as needed
until all liquid soap disappears. To dry them up, place jewels
in a clean towel and rub them one at a time until dry. This
way your jewelry will look like brand new. Repeat this procedure
whenever your jewelry needs it. |

Avoid blows on hard surfaces,
since this can scratch your jewel. |

Silver rusts in contact
with air, when this happens your jewelry can be cleaned up using
step number 2 or you can buy a special fabric that comes already
with a liquid impregnated to clean up your jewelry. |

|
|
Jewels that have enamels
are especially sensible to blows and to chemical agents, be
careful with them. |
| |
|
|
|
|
Pearls and corals deserve
special attention; they are of organic origin and therefore
can be attacked by cosmetics, lacquers, perfumes or colognes.
For cleaning these items we recommend using step number 2 and
when brushing and rubbing be extra careful. |

|
|
|
It is not advisable to
use any water with either bracelets or necklaces that use a
magnet closing, since this kind of closings oxidizes with water
and stops working properly. |

|
|
|
Jewels that have interlaced
filaments like leather for example, will have better results
if cleaned with a damp cloth, it is also recommended not to
bathe or to shower with them nor to clean them with water and
soap. |
